While working for the Digital and Print Team at Hobby Lobby, I got the opportunity to create small in-house brands for specific products. The Wickology candle line was one of them. The client wanted a label that reflected the nature inspired personality of the product that could also be easily applied to different scents. We decided to mimik the wood grain from the packaging and opted for a minimal type treatment for the logo. We added a touch of delicacy on the tag line to appeal to our femenine target audience, and kept a less vibrant color scheme that matched each scent.
